2012 - Movie - Clips

2012 - "The Worst is Over"
According to the Mayan calendar, the world will come to an end on December 21, 2012.

This is a disaster movie from the producer of The Day After Tomorrow, inspired by the popular superstition based on an ancient Mayan belief that the world will come to an end in the year 2012.

To give you an idea about the scale of disaster that occurs in this film, think The Day After Tomorrow but on steroids, it was as if mother nature got upset after the climate change in that film didn't kill us all and struck back with a vengeance.

Never before has a date in history been so significant to so many cultures, so many religions, scientists, and governments. "2012" is an epic adventure about a global cataclysm that brings an end to the world and tells of the heroic struggle of the survivors.

A five minute clip for 2012 that Columbia Pictures aired to the largest American media roadblock ever on the major broadcast networks, local stations in the top 70 markets, and nearly 450 television stations in North America.

  1. The 2012 paranoid schizophrenics have many theories of how the world will in on 12-21-2012, ranging from a giant meteor to aliens to plagues to black holes. Basically anything they can think up to explain why a Mayan who probably lived to a ripe old age of 40 didn't make a calendar that goes to infinity.
